One word task - Reflections

This week we were given the word 'Reflections' to try to capture in a photo.

To try to acheive this in my photos I went to the lake district where I was sure there would be plenty to photograph. I used a tripod to enable me to use slow shutter speeds without camera shake.

The weather was very overcast the whole time that we were there, so with the weather and the season, sometimes everything seemed to look brown or grey.

The 4 pictures that I chose have lots of coloured lights in which helped to brighten and inject some colour back in to my pictures.

The top 1 is the ones that I chose to submit.

f5.6 - 15secs - ISO 100 - WB-Daylight

f8.0 - 30secs - ISO 100 - WB-Daylight

These 2 are what I short listed with the 2 above to use but in the end decided against them.

f5.6 - 15secs - ISO 100 - WB-Daylight

f4.0 - 10secs - ISO 100 - WB-Daylight

These are a few more that I took whilst in the lake district, some have nothing to do with reflections.

f13 - 1/15sec - ISO 160 - WB-Daylight

f13 - 1/20sec - ISO 160 - WB-Daylight

f11 - 1/4sec - ISO 160 - WB-Daylight

f22 - 1/3sec - ISO 160 - WB-Daylight

f4.0 - 1/45sec - ISO 160 - WB-Daylight
